Scentsy Donates 100,000 Scentsy Buddies!

Heidi Thompson, the president of Scentsy, announces Scentsy's donation of  $2.5 Million worth of Scentsy Buddies: Scented, Huggable stuffed animals to TODAY’s annual holiday toy drive.

Meridian-based company Scentsy made a big donation and a big splash on national television Wednesday morning.

Scentsy's President Heidi Thompson appeared on NBC's the TODAY Show to announce a $2.5 million in toys for nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping children.

The donation of $2.5 million worth of "Scentsy Buddies" was divided among five organizations:

* Boys and Girls Clubs of America, $1.25 million
* Kids in Distressed Situations, $375,000
* The Kids in Need Foundation, $250,000
* Texas Head Start Association, $250,000
* Gifts In Kind International, $375,000

Scentsy Buddies are a cuddly, aromatic animals intended for children ages 3 and up featuring a zippered pocket that holds a fragrant Scent Pak.
