All of the net profits from the sale of this warmer will go directly to the Sunshine Kids Foundation. Fighting cancer can be a lonely, daunting experience - especially for a child. The Sunshine Kids' Foundation has been providing positive, exciting group activities for children receiving cancer treatments in hospitals all over North America, at no charge to the kids or their parents, since 1982. To make the most of the contribution opportunity, Sunshine Kids is priced at $35 and is available this catalog season only.
*In addition, for every Sunshine Kids' warmer ordered on-line and at the Queen Creek Relay for Life, I will personally donate $5.00 to Relay for Life. Orders must be placed on or before April 24, 2010. Order On-line.
When I was child my maternal grandfather was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was discovered early and he survived. However, I do know what it's like to lose a mother and two aunts to breast cancer. As a third generation breast cancer patient, I know how it feels to go through cancer treatment, to have many surgical procedures and how cancer affects others around you. I am so grateful for all the medical research that I have personally benefited from. This is one small way for me to be able to "give back".
